The Lawrence County Historical Society is a tax exempt, charitable 501(c)3 organization. All membership contributions are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

The Society offers a host of educational programs. Guided tours are available as well as a monthly lecture series and an annual trivia competition, which brings together students to match their knowledge on local topics. Presentations are also available including slide shows, fashion shows, lectures and video programs. Publications are also sponsored by the Society and are available at the gift shop.
